Lightning Fast Data Technology Inc. was founded by Mike Polehn in 2009 to provide some on going support for the infrared camera work for the U2 reconnaissance airplane. This was part time support, not significant enough to support a full time engineer and full time work was easily found doing engineering labor contracts for other companies and mostly contracting to Intel.
In 2013, Intel asked Mike Polehn to work for Intel’s direct contract group and in 2014 became a permanent employee. Also during 2014 was the last infrared camera support through Goodrich’s subsidiary Sensors Unlimited, Inc. Although the support of this was not in conflict with Intel since this was specialized military work, however almost any other computer engineering work would be, so in 2015 Lightning Fast Data Technology Inc. business was closed.
In 2016 Mike Polehn left Intel and afterward Lightning Fast Data Technology Inc. was reestablished. Starting 2016, Fast Data Technology Inc. is in a startup business phase working to find and establish a profitable niche market to do business.
